Hello! I’m excited to provide another fry review for you all! Last weekend, I went to Flipside Burger at Easton. I had never heard of the place before, but in my search for great fries, it came up as a place of interest. So, because of this, I went out and checked it out. How was it?

Address: 3945 Easton Station, Columbus, OH 43219
Cut: Straight Cut, hand-cut style.
Thickness: 3/10
Crispiness: 3.5/10
Salt/Seasoning: No salt, light herb seasoning.

So, to open, these were hand cut style fries, with a relatively narrow cut, but not quite reaching the level of a shoestring cut. Fries were unsalted, with a light herb seasoning (Fry Wife says it may be parsley, but IDK, I’m not sophisticated enough to tell). Fries did have a little bit of grease soaked in, as is relatively commonplace among hand-cut fries, but not an unreasonable amount, nor enough to detract from the overall experience. Fries were served very warm and fresh, not quite piping hot (it was a busy evening after all, can’t really blame the kitchen for that). The seasoning and the fresh nature of the fries combined to provide a tasty overall fry, and it would definitely qualify as above average. A slight greasiness and maybe a slight sogginess would prevent this from being in the top tier of fries, but they are still very good, and I would recommend.
